Friday, June 29th - Addyson can use a spoon, all by herself! AND 4 generations!

During dinner tonight, I discovered that Addyson can actually use a spoon ALL BY HERSELF now! Go Addy!

Today, Addyson and I stopped by Mom Mom and Pop Pop's house to pick up a few things we had left at the beach. Then we had lunch and visited Gram where we were able to take a 4 generation picture!

Thursday, June 28th - Its swimming time!

Since the temperature is suppose to be getting HOT for the next few days, we (I) decided to get a pool for our deck! And its AWESOME!

Today, after I finally got it all set up, Addy and I went into the pool. She enjoyed splashing around, pouring water on me, pouring water out of the pool and drinking it. We are still working on trying to keep the water in the pool and out of her mouth, but she still enjoyed it! And I know she would really enjoy it if she had some friends, but for now Mommy will have to do!

 

Wednesday, June 27th - The New Picasso

I've been trying to think of some things Addy and I can do, so that we both can have fun filled days of summer. Today, I thought that we could check out the splash park in Pottstown and finger paint! She LOVED the finger painting, but is still a little unsure on the splash park. We also stopped by the book store today, but I didn't really have enough time to look around for Addy and myself because Addyson just wanted to pull every book off the shelf and run all over the place!

I wish I got a picture at the splash park today, but I'm sure we will be visiting there in the future shortly with another heat wave on the horizon!

Any takers? I'm sure she'll be reasonable with the price! ;)

Tuesday, June 26th - Addy's first library trip!

Today we took a trip to the Royersford Public Library for a mommy and me, infant/toddler story time. Most of the kiddo's there were around the same age as Addyson, but she was heads and toes taller then all of them!

She seemed to be a little unsure at first with the singing, but she quickly warmed up when they brought out some toys. She LOVED the parachute that they brought out at the end. She would RUN from one end to the other under the parachute. All of the other kiddos seemed to just stand and stare, but not Addy. She took off! I couldn't even see her most of the time because she was running with delight!

She also loved the musical toys they had. At the end, all of the kiddos were aloud to play with them. But I felt I needed to watch Addy like a hawk because she would either steal another kiddo's toy OR she would toss her toy when she had finished with it (usually in the way of another kiddo).

Unfortunately I don't have any picture of today at the library, but here are some from our other activities today!
