Wednesday, August 29th - Waiting for Daddy!

One of the cutest things that Addyson does is wait for Daddy to come home from work. She gets SO excited when she sees him at the door. Hopefully tomorrow I'll catch it on video!

Tuesday, August 28th - Taking care of her baby

Addy has really started developing an attachment to her baby. And it's the cutest thing ever! Tonight while I was rocking her to bed she was drinking her bottle. Then she stopped and started feeding her baby. SO adorable!

Monday, August 27th - First day back to school

Hopefully we start getting back in the swing of things soon! Hopefully Addyson stops crying when she's dropped off at daycare and I can get back in the swing of teaching.

 Addyson really enjoyed her bath too tonight!

Sunday, August 26th - The "last" day of summer

And tomorrow it all begins.............

Hopefully this is a good year!

We all went down with Josh to help support him on his quest to become the fantisy football champion this year during their draft. Hopefully we brought him some good luck! But Addy really enjoyed playing with Brenna, Grayson and Jules!

And it was nice for me to be able to watch Addy play instead of being her sole entertainer. Good luck Josh and Good luck to me tomorrow!

Saturday, August 25th - A growing girl

This little girl just doesn't want to stay little. In the past 2 months Addyson has grown at least 2 inches!!

To help keep up with this growing girl, Josh and I headed out to Ikea today to get Addyson a new table and chairs, train set, cars (she likes things with wheels) and soft light for her room.

Flashback Friday - First day of school

Since school starts on Monday (and I think I'm still in denial...) I thought I'd share a picture of my first day of school!

Friday, August 24th - End of Summer Party

At Addy's daycare today they threw an 'End of Summer' party. Addy signed up to bring cheese. She helped taste test the cheese for me.

Not only did they have lots of yummy food, like hot dogs and watermelon, but they also had a moon bounce. I thought that Addy would love the watermelon and moon bounce but as it turns out she only liked the watermelon. Apparently all of the other toddlers also did not like the moon bounce. I'm sure that will change in a few years though!

And, I HATE MOSQUITO'S!!!!!!!! They are awful this year. These bites were from a swarm of mosquito's that attacked!

Thursday, August 23rd - Adjusting to our new schedule

Addy woke up early this morning, but hopefully its not the new norm! It would be nice if she can sleep till 6:30 or so, to let Josh and I get ourselves ready but still leaving enough time for Addy to eat breakfast.

I dropped Addy off at daycare again today. And she screamed again...

When I picked her up today they were all playing and eating Goldfish. She was in good spirits, but was really hungry and tired when we got home. Hopefully she will also adjust to the one nap they offer at day care.

Wednesday, August 22nd - Addyson's back in daycare... :(

And I dropped her off at daycare today. And she screamed.... gahhhh!

Hopefully tomorrow is better for me! Her teachers said that she had a good day today, so it was probably a little bit more rough on me than her.

Although she did save 2 poops for me today, so she was still thinking of me! :)

 And Addy visited my classroom today!

OK, I'm ready for 10th grade mom!

Tuesday, August 21st - Last Day of Summer :(...

I can't believe that this day is here, again... Didn't we JUST get out for summer break????

I wish that summer break lasted ALL YEAR!

Since today was my last day at home with the adorable Addy, we just hung out, played, visited daycare to make sure she was all ready for tomorrow, cuddled, gave lots of hugs and kisses, took pictures and a few things done around the house.

I love you so much Addyson and I will really, really miss you at school!
