Tuesday, July 31st - Potty Time!

Today, I bought Addy a POTTY! She seems to be getting more and more interested in the toilet, so I figured it'd be a good time to get her familiar with it. No actual "action" has occurred but she did test it out a little.

And Mom Mom stopped by today to play with Addy and give me a little time to nap!! Addyson had a rough night last night. Up at 11:30 and then at 5:20... so both Josh and I are pretty tired. Thanks Mom!

Monday, July 30th - Building a fort

I'm not sure if its teeth, or boredom, or temperature, or crankiness, or what but Addyson sure does not like to nap or sleep in. She is up before 6, sometimes before 5, and if I'm lucky she will nap for a hour. Most day's she'll only nap for 45 minutes. To try to trick her into napping a little more today (since she only had a 30 minute nap) we build a fort full of blankets and pillows. The fort was and looked awesome, but didn't make her sleep for even a second. Hopefully tomorrow she'll want to sleep a little more.... hopefully....

Sunday, July 29th - Slidding all by herself!

Addyson can now slide all by herself! She can not only slide down, but she can also climb up too all by herself.

Saturday, July 28th - Watching Uncle Jon in a Demo Derby

Addy woke up at 5:40 this morning, so she still not "sleeping in"like she used to until 7... but YAY for Josh because he got up with her so I could stay in bed. I was so thankful and really needed it!

Today, we all headed down to the Cecil county fair to watch Uncle Jon complete in a demo derby. Addy was a little unsure at first but didn't seem too bothered by the loud noises. She did not like sitting still though. We got there early to save seats, but she, and everyone else were troopers helping to keep her entertained.

Addy LOVED the goats and as soon as she saw them she kept saying "Baaaa". Adorable!

Flashback Friday - The Magnificent 7

Since the Olympics start today, I am really thinking so much of the Atlanta Olympics I was able to go to in 1996. It was such an amazing experience that hopefully Addy will one day get to partake in! There was just something so special about the Atlanta Games. We all were so excited to get to Atlanta that we went a little earlier than originally planned. Our first day in Atlanta was the day of the opening ceremonies. We watched the opening ceremonies in our hotel room. It was the first time that I had Papa John's pizza AND what was really awesome, was that we could actually see some of the fireworks used in the ceromonies from a window in the hotel. I can remember seeing them on TV, but hearing them in person. So we all ran to the window in the hallway for which we could see them in person. AWESOME!

But honestly the MOST AWESOME part of the games was watching the Magnificent 7 win team Gold! I know there is a video somewhere of me screaming my head off during pretty much the entire meet, but that will have to wait for another time.

This is the vault where USA won GOLD!

I know they are not the BEST pictures, or of anything much at all, but its something! :)

Friday, July 27th - Let the Game's Begin!

Today is the opening ceremonies for the London Olympic games!

Some of the games Addy played today included kissing baby Lily, following Jule's around, going bike riding, riding springy cars, and exploring tractors and trains. Addy got to hang out with even more family today and she came home today to see Daddy! She greeted him with a HUGE smile.

Thursday, July 26th - Playdate with Juliana and Lily

Its funny how much it reminds me of Jennie and I when Juliana and Addyson play together. Its adorable and so fun to watch! Addy followed Juliana around and tried to do whatever it was she was doing. She enjoyed playing dress up, drinking her milk (and Jules'), sitting in a stroller, laying in a pack-n-play, getting a cool pocketbook (Thank's Uncle Hal), running around the house, and playing with spoons!

What would you caption this??

Mom Mom's greatest hits now with a soundtrack!

Jules wanted to play dress up, how do you like Addy's outfit?

Addy loved this mat, maybe I should bring her's out again!

Now, caption this one!

I'll have a bottle........... of milk.....

And here are the pictures that Juliana took!
