Saturday, March 31st - We made it 365 days!!

I remember a week after Addy was born, I didn't think that I would make it two weeks breast feeding! But here we are a year later (because of leap day) and we are still breast feeding. I am very proud of our accomplishment! We have survived sores, sleepless nights, endless feedings, thrush, distractions, pumping, biting (probably the worst one), and nursing strikes.  It wasn't all bad at all, we were able to have a special bond, I was able to feel really needed, I was able to comfort her, I was giving her the best food possible, and it is the best diet ever!

I love you so very much Addyson! I can't believe you are turning ONE tomorrow!! It has gone by WAY to fast! You have to wish tomorrow when you blow out your candle that next year won't go by so fast, OK?

Love,
Mommy!

Friday, March 30th - Starting to REALLY walk now!

Addyson greeted Mimi today by running walking over to see her! She is really starting to get the hang of this walking thing, but her preferred method is still crawling. For lunch Addy had tomato soup for the first time. She gets her love of tomatoes from her mommy and not from her daddy!

And last year at this time, I changed my board from March to April thinking I would be at school the next day for my last day. I planned to complete a karyotype lab... and wouldn't you know I changed my board today and I plan on completing a karyotype lab with my class on Monday!

And I got a picture of one of Addyson's presents from mom mom...

Wednesday, March 28th - Drinking out of a sippy cup!

Yesterday was the first day that Addyson drank her milk out of a sippy cup at day care. Today I just sent in milk for her but didn't have to put the bottle cap on! She is such a big girl!! Today during dinner I warmed up some cow's milk and gave it to her in her sippy and she drank the whole thing! Where did my baby go?!?!?

To get ready for Addy's birthday, I made a cake for her to take into day care tomorrow and Josh and I made a tutu for her. Yes, that's right, Josh is an AWESOME dad who really did help to make her tutu! :) Love him!

Today was the first time that I saw Addy really standing!!!!
At in home PT today she showed Janet and myself how well she can stand and take a few steps! Go Addy!

Also tonight was our last Alcatraz night for the season so Addy enjoyed playing with her uncles and Pop Pop!

Today was hat day at daycare, so Addyson decided to go with the Brittish fascinator look!

Mom, I really want your keys!!

Look!! I'm standing ALL BY MYSELF!!

What do I do now?!?!

Monday, March 26th - I've never heard her cry like that before!

When I picked Addy up from daycare this afternoon, she had just woken up from her 2 hour nap!! That does not happen normally for her AT ALL! Usually she is just napping 45 minutes maybe an hour but definitely not TWO HOURS!

We also realized that she had a runny poopy diaper and needed to change it and her outfit. Addy was NOT HAPPY!! She was crying, and crying, and crying, and crying, and crying, and crying, and crying. She sounded like she was in a lot of pain and just so upset!

She didn't stop crying all the way home until I gave her some Tylenol and she nursed. I took her temperature and called the doctor. They said to just watch her since she didn't have a fever and if she gets worse to let them know.

I had to go to Redners and it felt like old times with Addy not very happy to be there. I tried to keep her happy with frozen veggies, a new sippy cup, and at last resort a box of cereal... but I didn't have any luck and just raced around to get out as soon as possible. Also, it was extremely windy today it was quite a challenge to push a stroller and carry all of our groceries home.

The pictures below are of me trying to keep Addy happy. Don't Judge! I was doing everything I could to keep her happy! Hopefully she feels better tomorrow!!
