Thursday, September 27th - Melmo Mornings

Our morning routine is quite different than last school year. Last year, I I was still nursing Addy for her breakfast and going into school a little later than this year. So now our new routine is to grab a waffle and breakfast cookie and watch ELMO, or Melmo as known to Addyson!

Wednesday, September 26th - Playdough and Cereal

I had all intentions of running with Addyson this afternoon and then hitting up the grocery store... but she had other plans. She would NOT let me put her in the stroller or even walk outside, but she did want every piece of food that she could find. And she really wanted yogurt, but she didn't seem to understand that we didn't have any yogurt in the house. That we would have to go to the grocery store in order to get more. So she settled for cereal (she did a great job eating cereal with milk all by herself) and playing with play dough. She kept having me make balls for her to stack and then smash them! So cute!

Oh, and today was crazy hair day at daycare...

Tuesday, September 25th - Noodle and Doodle

Or "new new" and Addyson calls it, is her latest obsession! She can't seem to get enough of it. It is really her favorite show! This helped yesterday when I had to entertain her while we were waiting for Josh to get home.

Monday September, 24th - Another Daddy Post!

So...  Addyson is finally starting to feel better.  But of course now Alison is sick : (

When I got home from work Alison just wanted to lay down.  That was fine by me because Addy was in such a good mood and I was able to spend some good Daddy/Daughter time with her.

We made Daddy's dinner of Ramen Noodles (I feel like I'm in college again because that was the second night of Ramen, but it's sooo good)!  We sat down and Addy ate some more of her Spaghettios (Yuck)!

After that we did bath time where Addy did her creative interpretation of "Edward Scissor Hands," by doing "Addy Crayon Fingers!"  Then Alison came out to give Addy a kiss goodnight and I rocked with her until she was ready to go in the crib.

Now they are both fast asleep!  I hope both my girls start feeling better soon!

Don't mind the ridiculously swollen foot, oh and the horrible (but so needed) wires running to compressors on my legs to eliminate blood clots! But since tonight was a bath post, I decided to share this after bath picture of Addy after her FIRST bath in the hospital!

Friday, September 21st - Bath time with Mommy!

Josh was hanging out with a few work friends after work today, so Addy and I enjoyed a bath with just Mommy and Addy tonight! I realized how long her hair is and how much longer the left side of her hair STILL is! :)

This putting the crayons into the bottle and taking them out entertained her for over 15 minutes!!

Thursday, September 20th - Noodle and Doodle

Is her favorite TV show right now. She loves when Sean and the kids are on, but tends to get restless when "Doggities" is on. BUT, I just discovered that this show is Ondemand! So now when I need to take a few minutes to make dinner... I can now just put on Noodle and Doodle and she's so content!!

Wednesday, September 19th - Is she really 16 already?

And I'm not talking about months... Addyson is just looking so old to me these days. Especially in some of today's pictures!
