Monday, June 25th - Bubbles!

Today Addyson was very adamant on one thing. She wanted to play with BUBBLES!! She kept pointing to the bubble container and saying "Bub Bub's" so finally once the rain cleared up she tried to put on her shoes and head out to the deck to play with bubbles. I did have to help her to put her shoes on, but she did give it a valiant try!

Addyson actually not only enjoys playing with the bubbles that I make, but she can also blow her own bubbles! I'll try to take a picture of it this afternoon, but it is adorable! I will also have to go hunting for the bubble wands since Addy decided it would also be fun if she dropped them between the cracks of the deck.

She also found a new friend, a praying mantis!

Sunday, June 24th - Heading home from the beach

Today, we headed home from the beach. We had a great extended birthday weekend, but all great things must come to an end. The bright side was that we didn't hit ANY traffic on the way home, and made it in just over 2 hours. But I think we are all tired form our fun festivities this past weekend!

Saturday, June 23rd - Addyson's first handstand!

Today we celebrated Uncle Chris' 30th birthday! And we went to the beach, went to the Italian Festival, and went on a few rides on the boardwalk. We even all went on a ferris wheel tonight! AND most importantly, Addyson did her first handstand!!!

Friday, June 22nd - My Birthday!!

So not only was it my birthday, but it was also Addyson's 2nd trip to the water park! We had a great day! We went biking this morning to breakfast. Then we went to the water park, where Addy had a GREAT time, and then came home for naps, pizza and ice cream cake!

Thursday, June 21st - The longest day of the year... my last day in my 20's

I can't believe I'll be 30 tomorrow!! Ahhh! Josh was teasing me tonight, and I'm sure he will always tease me because tomorrow till his birthday I will be "2" years older....

On the longest day of the year, we actually spent as much of it as we could hibernating in the air conditioning! But we did get out today. This morning Addy and I went out for a run to see the Kenny Chesney stage and before it got TOO hot. Then we went on a bike ride to breakfast. Later this afternoon Josh was finally able to join us and we went to the beach to cool off. Addyson is SUCH a fish! She would spend all day at the beach if she could!

Later tonight, Jennie, Jill, Aunt Kim and Lily came to join us while Jules and Ricky finished the boardwalk. It was great to see them all again!

On our run this morning. I think its funny that I do all of the running, while Addy gets to sit back and enjoy animal crackers!
