I needed to get out of the house yesterday. I was going stir crazy!
So, again I was thinking of something fun and cool Addyson and I could do.
I have been wanted to check out the Delaware Children's Museum for a little while, so I thought, why not?!
We invited Mimi, and she was nice enough to come with us. AND get us Capriotti's for lunch!!!! Yummmmmmmy!
So, Addyson got to ride Lucky, play with Mimi's doll house, enjoy Mimi's company, play, color, create, investigate at the museum, and enjoy ice cream!!
And this is how our day started, with tea, and Addyson reliving her baby years!

Monkey Joes
For something cool to do during this heat wave, Addy and I checked out Monkey Joe's. I've wanted to see what it was all about for a while, and when I saw that it was only $6 to go, I thought "why not?"
When we first arrived, Addyson wanted NOTHING to do with any of it. She has started to get very shy when she gets to a new place. But she warmed up quickly. I showed her a few wall toys they had that weren't inflatable, then moved to the toddler play area, and then quickly to all of the other big slides! It also helped there was a nice little girl a little older than her who wanted to play with Addyson. It was adorable to watch, and she had a blast!

Weekend Activities :)
This past weekend, when I opened up our curtains, I noticed lots of cars parked outside of our house. It turns out there was a yard sale complete with their own food truck! So Addy and I went to check it out, but we didn't see anything we wanted.
And on Friday we went with Mimi and a few of her friends shopping at the outlets. Addyson did ok, and one of her favorite parts, as always, are the rides :) Although it took a while for her to decide which ride she wanted to go on.

No please
At least she's polite most times when she tells me "no." Which is pretty frequent. It's always nice to use your manners! And at least Addyson knows that, even though she rarely wants to do what I ask her to do :)
And at least she is a nice snuggle buddy for these awesome summer naps!

First Trip to the Dentist
Monday was Addyson's first trip to the dentist! She did AWESOME!!
She sat in the big chair without moving around, let the dentist count all of her teeth (she now has 20), clean her teeth (with Mr. Tickles and Mr. Thirsty), washed out her own mouth, and put fluoride on her teeth! Everything they wanted her to do, she did so well! I think I had a huge smile on my face the whole time just because I was so proud of her!
A Week at Wildwood
Ahhh... Vacation. Nice while it lasts, but always seems so short!
This summer we vacationed at Wildwood during the week of 4th of July. It was nice to spend time with Josh, and family. It was also so nice to nap, ride bikes, take Addy to new playgrounds, enjoy the boardwalk, enjoy the beach and waterpark!
