I think this year was a little bit easier, compared with turning 30 last year. :)
I had a great 31st birthday! We all started the day early, when Addyson woke up at 6. She just wanted to spend more time with me on my birthday! We spent the morning drinking coffee and relaxing. I even got out for a run on the boardwalk! But when I got back, Addyson wanted to go for a run too.
I had been thinking about when Addyson would be old enough to go running with me when I was on the boardwalk. Unfortunately, Addyson might just be a little too small still. While we were out for our run (and with her it really is a run, she's FAST) she fell and scrapped both of her knees :(
She was SO upset. After dressing her wounds, she actually feel asleep in Josh's lap as he was rocking to comfort her.
Later, we went out to Samuel's were we had a delicious breakfast. We stopped at the candy barrel for a few smarties for Addyson and headed home.

Next up was a nap! Addyson snuggled with me for about 2 hours!!
And then it was the beach! Addyson showed Daddy how much she loves the beach and enjoyed playing with Pop Pop and Uncle Chris in the sand. Then it was home for showers and to get ready for the boardwalk.

We ate dinner at Joe's Fish Company and then Addyson got to ride LOTS of rides! She LOVED it! And, she rode most of them all by herself!
Later, after the boardwalk, it was time for cake. Ice Cream Cake! And.... After 30 years, I have learned how to share my cake (it was pretty big)! :)
