New Playground

I discovered a new playground a few blocks away from our house!

Its not as big as our usually playground, but the change was nice. And they had MONKEY BARS! I love monkey bars! :)

Oh, and it was pajama day, so she IS wearing her Tinkerbell PJ's

My Favorite Christams Present

I think my favorite Christmas gift, maybe even ever, is the iPad that Mom mom and Pop pop got for us! It just keeps coming in handy! From extra lives on candy crush, to keeping Addy occupied in the car and now... letting me WATCH THE WEATHER again!

Addyson use to watch sesame street in the morning while she, and we, ate our breakfasts. But they changed Elmo's segment from Elmo's world to Elmo the musical (NOT anywhere near as good, especially when you have seen each segment 10+ times). We are on a pretty tight time schedule in the morning in order to get all of us out of the door by 7, so we don't have the luxury of watching anything but Elmo on sesame street.

Until now.... we are geniuses :)

Now we can watch the weather again, and actually know how to dress for the day!

Mom Mom's Birthday

It was Mom Mom's birthday this past Monday! Happy Birthday Mom Mom! To celebrate, we all headed to GG's for a nice afternoon together.

Josh was still away on his work trip, so I appreciated a lot of helpful hands with Addyson!  And Addyson appreciated all of the attention!

She always makes sure to act as a trainer with Uncle Chris. She gives him quite the workout!

She also (and so did I) enjoyed looking for their new cat Waldo. But Waldo spent most of the time we were there under GG's bed.

And really enjoyed playing with the Jack-n-the-box with GG!

The delicious Ice cream cake (that Addyson kept sticking her finger in to get icing - I swear I don't know where she gets that from ;)

Saturday Playdate

Addyson and I enjoyed a play date today with Lauren and Brooklynn. It was so nice to catch up! We met at the Exton Mall play area and then had a nice lunch at the food court. And, Addyson even left with a new pair of stride rite sandals for the summer!!

 And we were both worn out, so I was able to get Addy down for a nap! woo hoo! (What you can't see is that I am cuddling Addy, her baby, and her milk)

 Then we played Super Addy.

 And hide-n-seek.

 

And finally, had some ice cream!

Morning with Mommy

Since Josh was away in St. Louis this weekend for work, I got to spend the morning with Addyson!

This is how I found her when we woke up...

Now, I should say that when I first saw her on Saturday, it was through the video monitor. And she had her clothes still on. But then she decided she needed to take them off. So I figured that it was time for her to get up. And the first thing she did when she got out of the crib was to use potty!

Then we had breakfast and caught up on our shows.

And took a bath!

No Mommy, My Do It

Is what I hear at least twenty times a day! :)

Addyson wants and thinks that she can do everything. And she actually can do most things!

She has such determination, strength and inquisitiveness to try everything that she can. She is so much fun to bee around and admire. This past week, she wanted to pull me in the wagon. Unfortunately though, she just couldn't pull me, but she could pull the empty wagon herself!

And she enjoyed me pulling her, riding in the wagon like this, too!
