Increasing her reading rigor!

Tonight Addyson wasn't happy with her normal books, so she started to reach higher! All the way to a high school biology textbook! I think what really drew her in was the owl on the cover (she loves owls) and she wanted to find more! But what made this occasion all the fun ire was that she was on the potty while reading! Silly, silly girl.

And I hope my students enjoy this book as much as Addy does!

The Next Food Network Star

I'm thinking I should have Addyson try out for to becomes star on food network. On Monday she cooked up some delicious cucumber stew and then worked on some carrot stew. She even served it to me in a pot at her table!

Edamame Princess!

Have I mentioned before how much Addy loves edamame? Well she more than loves it. Honestly I think it's her favorite food, ever! She is so happy and content to sit on the couch and eat it. She can eat it all by herself right out of the pod. And she doesn't eat just one out of it, she can eat all of them! It amazes me how well she can eat them!

Oh, and she was making some of the funniest faces today in the car!!

Farm Show 2013

Addy really enjoyed the farm show today! She LOVED the cows, sheep, goats, chickens and ducks. She couldn't get enough!

She also enjoyed the carousel, ice cream, shuttle bus, and corn playground. Oh, and playing with Mom mom and Pop Pop!

Taking Dude's Place

Addyson has really developed her love for opening any kind of package. Yesterday, Addy confiscated Josh's mail. It was open a little bit, so she opened it all the way!

An I think Addy is getting a little cold, so hopefully she just keeps getting better!

Addy's a Pro at "Reading" Books

Addyson really has loved books for a while. But now she really loves to read them. She will now pretend to read her books. Point to all of the pictures in her books and tell me what she is looking at. She amazes me at what she knows like, tree, bear and fish. Words that I don't go over with her much, so she must be learning a lot at school!

But, at school today they said that she wasn't her normal self. She seemed tired and had a snotty nose. She also slept for 2 1/2 hours for her nap! NOT her normal hour...  Hopefully she can get rid of this bug before it gets the best of her. 

Later tonight, she enjoyed cuddling with him and playing with his new floor mats.

Moving up to the big bowl!

To eat her cereal. She loves cereal and now I think loves it even more with a big bowl AND a big spoon!

But look... she still LOVES to cuddle with her stuffed animals, and vegetables, and babies.
