Mommy's Little Helper

Addyson is such a great little helper. In fact, I think she sometimes she is happiest when she gets to help out! :)

She helps me remember where I put something; the grocery list for a quick trip; she makes sure Daddy has his hat, keys and phone for work; feed the cats; do the laundry; vacuum; carry in my lunch bag and other bags; pick out my clothes; take funny pictures; unload the dishwasher; go for walks with me; play at the playground with me; let me enjoy watching her grow up; enjoy a snack together; sometimes clean up her toys (her least favorite); help Daddy cheer for the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers; provide lots and lots of love, smiles and laughs to all of our family; and so much more to put a smile on my face!

We also spent a weekend transitioning our second bedroom into Addyson's new room! So far we have the room painted and cleaned out, but we still need a bed, wall mural, rug, to secure the furniture, and then move her in!

 

Then we spent the night, enjoying a nice dinner with Mimi and Pop!

Crayola Factory 2013

Last year, at the end of summer we went to the Crayola Factory. We had such a great time, we decided to go again!

This year was just as good, but I would recommend NOT going on labor day weekend. Its just way too crowded. We all had a blast, as you can see from our pictures!

First Day of School 2013

My first day was great, but Addyson has had a rough transition.

Drop off has been challenging for her, but seemed to get better. But, the last 3 days have been a little bit more difficult. And today, her teacher told me that she has been crying/sad most of the last three days :(

Hopefully she will learn how to not miss me too much, so that she can enjoy her day at school. Sooner than later for both our sakes!

Some school positives for Addyson:
- She is using the potty like a potty champ!
- She is learning so so much! Sign language, Letters, Numbers
- She is napping well, eating well
- She usually always has a smile waiting for me when I come to pick her up!!

Baby Federoff, Round Two

Due February 21st!

Addy is still pretty adamant that she is getting a baby sister, but we will see in just a few short weeks! Tonight I go in for my 17th week checkup and tomorrow I think I'll be scheduling the anatomy scan around the beginning of October!!

This go round though, has been rough. I think I forgot most of the negative parts from last time. The sickness, tiredness, and just plain ickyness feeling has been brutal. I finally starting feeling better about two or three weeks ago, finally! Now its just the begining of the uncomfortable stage. Hopefully though, it doesn't kick in majorly til the end of the tird trimester!

But, enough negativity! We are all so very excited! And I know that Addyson is going to be such an amazing and helpful big sister!!
