Cold Beach House

Still makes for a great beach weekend. It was pretty chilly Friday night and Saturday morning inside. But the sun quickly warmed the outside temperature up. Addyson didn't seem to mind the cold weather one bit with her fan club! I even got Josh out for a run!

Playground Addy

Everyday this week after school Addy has asked to go to the playground. She's become a real pro! She slides lie a champ, climbs the rock wall with no problem, and enjoys swinging by herself.

But her new tricks are climbing a rope ladder all by herself and swinging with me, way, way up in the air!!!!

Samuels Breakfast

Last Sunday it was a little bit rainy and cool, but that didn't stop us from going to breakfast. No stroller at all this year on our walk to Samuels! 

Addyson enjoyed her pancakes with sprinkles and probably even more so the Candy Cottage. I let her pick just one thing, so she decided to pick the largest bag possible. She's such a smarty pants!

And of course "walking" with Mom Mom and Pop Pop!

First Beach Trip of the Year!

Last weekend was our first beach trip of the year! Josh and I traveled separately because he was going to attend Ben's bachelor party on Saturday. I left Pottstown around 3:30 but didn't make it down to the bean until a little after 7!!! Crazy traffic, but somehow Addy and I survived. It felt so great to get back down to the beach though. Aaaahhhhh! :)

And breakfast is always better at the beach!

Can't forget about naps either!

And of course no beach trip can be complete without a trip to Owens for the delicious BBQ chicken cheese steaks!

Addyson the Pink Pirate of Pottstown

This past Saturday was the 26th (I think) Annual Captain Kidd Pirate Day Parade at North Wildwood. Last year Addy was in the parade but it was a last minute thing. This year Pop Pop went all out! 

We started the morning with bagels as we waited for the rest of Addy's entourage to arrive at the house. Then around 10 Addy sailed off in her boat! We were a big hit walking to the boardwalk and an even bigger hit once there! We got lots of great comments and there were also lots of jealous pirates!

Addyson and her ship won FIRST PLACE in the most original category!! Go Addy and Pop Pop!!

But I think what Addy enjoyed most was playing in the sand! And everyone's company!

My do it - Picking out her outfit

Addyson is really into picking out her outfit now. She can open up her drawers, pick out an outfit, and even "kind of" put it on!

Her is one of the outfits she picked out this week.

2 Year Molars

They are coming in! And I think we need to get Sophie out again. Addyson is chewing on whatever she can get, including fingers. Poor Addy. I can't remember my own teeth coming in, but I do remember braces and I bet that that isn't any comparison... Poor Addy...

Animal Lover

Addyson really does take after my animal loving-ness. She wants to love, pet and hold most every animal (except spiders and bugs). So, when we were at the Federoff's two weekends ago, Addyson couldn't wait until she could ride the horse, pet the doggies, show cat, and chickens.
