Stair Climber

Coming home from school today, Addyson wanted to climb the stairs today all by herself! Normally I help her by holding her hand or hands, so today was a big step ;) she was so proud of herself that she walked up the stairs 3 more times!

iPad Puzzler

Addyson really has been LOVING the iPad Mom Mom and Pop Pop got us for Christmas (and so have I)! She has occasionally been playing a puzzle game but has recently become a puzzle master!

Cha Cha Slide

When I picked Addy up from day care today she was building towers with blocks. She was deep in concentration so she didn't see me until I got pretty close to her 6 block tower. When she saw me though, her face light up (like it usually does) and gave me a hug. Then she took me over to her cubby so that I could get her jacket and hat.

But while putting on the hat, one of her teachers but on Cha Cha Slide. Addy and all of the other kids went nuts for the song! I think they dance to it at least once a day but it was great to get to see them all moving a shaking!!

So I arranged for a Cha Cha Slide dance party with Addyson and Josh this evening, which was equally as fun!

No Cry Nap!

Nap time is never fun. Addyson still fights naps with so much crying!!

So, instead of listening to crying I was able to get her down for a nap in my bed! And she stayed down for over 2 hours!!

To reward a great nap, Addyson got an ice cream cone!

Night!

A typical nite nite conversation in the Federoff household goes as follows. Daddy will be D and Addyson will be A.

D - "Goodnight sweetheart!"

A - "Nite"

D - "Sleeptight!"

A - "Tight"

D - "Don't let the blooper bugs bite"

A - "Bite"

And I melt inside from the cuteness and Addy rubbing my hair as I write this!!

Diaperless

Tonight was the first time ever that Addyson spent h half hour without a diaper on. After going potty I decided to just put her in a pair of underwear instead of another diaper. I know it's not going to be regular thing yet, but it was still pretty exciting that there were no accidents!

We have taken back control of the TV

For now. And by control of the TV I just mean that she can no longer turn it off and on, switch inputs, and bang on the screen because its now on our walls! Josh's birthday present from my parents were the mounts and yesterday Pop Pop and Mom Mom came up to help install them and play with Addyson.

I'm not sure if Addy is a fan yet, though!

For the love of Biology

Addyson loves to sit with Mommy and read from a biology textbook.

Jump, Jump!

And Happy Birthday Pop!

For a while now Addyson has been working on her jump. And with some help from Uncle Matt, I think she has just started getting the hang of it! She can jump really well when holding onto something. But she can get a little air all on her own!

We spent most of the day at Round Stone Farm where Addyson LOVES watching the horses, dogs, chickens, and cat. She also got to see Mimi, Pop, and Aunt Jill!

We all had a great day!

Addyson now serves US milk!

Tonight we heard her cooking up something in her kitchen after dinner. Next we knew, she came over to us and started serving us milk! We made sure to say our pleases and thanks too!
And we had some fun with Photobooth!

More Broc[coli]!!

Addyson has a favorite vegetable, broccoli. We had broccoli tonight for dinner and she just couldn't get enough. She had two helpings! She didn't really touch the pasta, but went to town on the broccoli!

Jealous of Daddy

Tonight after dinner, I asked Asdyson to lay down on the couch with me to relax. She ignored me until she saw Daddy lay next to me. She stared crying and tried to THEN lay with me. And she did for about 10 seconds. Until she decided to put a sticker on my head. Then stole my glasses. Then stole Daddy's glasses (but they were his old ones) and we took pictures!
