Friday, November 30th - Smart Cookie!!

We have all known how smart Addy is. She seems to pick everything up very fast and very easily. Today her techer told me that she was the only one that was able to match colors in her class!! Go Addy! She said the rest of her classmates just looked at her, Miss Tammi, like she had 3 heads.

So, when we were leaving school she noticed Bubbles (the elephant mascot). When she saw the first Bubbles she said, "Bubbles!" Then, she saw another Bubbles on our way to the car and she said, "Bubbles Two!"

Such a smart Cookie!

Thursday, November 29th - Kitty Love

So, when Addyson gets upset she normally comes to me for comfort. But tonight, Josh discovered that Addy also is very comforted by hugging her kitties! Dude does love Addyson, but after a minute of hugging, she had enough. But Sookie let me take a picture of her love affair with her kitties!

Oh, and Kristin, I know she is growing up WAY to fast! If there is something that I can do to slow down the time, just let me know!!!!

Wednesday, November 28th - Daddy Daycare

Blog by Daddy today! 

I'd like to give a salute to single parents and my wonderfully beautiful wife, Alison Federoff!

Today I took off so I could go to a couple doctors appointments. With that said it was my responsibility to get Addyson ready for school.

After struggling to get her dressed, a false alarm on the potty, opening every drawer and cabinet to see what's in there up stairs and putting on lotion (because she just had to have it), I finally got her ready for school.

Then I noticed her hair was crazy! Being a bald man I'm not too good with hair styling at any level.

It took me over a half hour of wrestling and playing and coaxing and manipulating Addy to allow me 10 minutes to put her hair in some sort of ponytail thing that I'm sure will be out within 5 minutes of her being at school!

Thank you Alison for everything you do everyday when I'm at work to take care of our little firecracker!

Single parents, I don't know how you do it and my prayers go out to you everyday!

 

Tuesday, November 28th - SNOW!! or "NOOO!"

Because that is what Addyson says when she is trying to say snow, no. So cute. And we were both so happy that we had snow today! In honor of the snow, Addyson wanted to wear her snowman PJ's tonight!

Even my skeleton at school was enjoying the snow!

Monday, Novmber 26th - Singing and Hand Holding

Addyson loves to sing now! Most of the time she can sing well enough so that we can recognize what song it actually is. And now at bed time she will hum along with me as I hum "Twinkle Twinkle" to her. So cute! And another new bed time routine is that she always wants to put her hands under mine while I'm rocking her at night. Tonight even baby's hand ended up in the mix!

And here she is at bath time tonight, just because she is so cute!
