Memorial Day 2014 - Beach Round #2

Instead of leaving Friday night, since it was Memorial Day weekend we decided to go down Saturday morning. Fortunately? We have two great alarm clocks. So at 5 when our littlest alarm went off, I woke Josh up and we were on our way. Getting to the beach early means that we get to have a nice breakfast at the beach. Caden does a great job sitting in his car seat at the restaurant and Addy has found a favorite food in strawberries and cream.

The weather was great! Addy had a blast, and Caden didn't hate the beach!! Win, win!

Addyson's Buggy Friend

Addy loves to make friends. Loves to. She will walk up to any little kid, boy or girl, and start playing with them. Yesterday at the beach, she walked up to a little girl putting shells in a bucket and started helping her. Or she would wave and say, "Hi" to any kid passing.

But she doesn't limit it to just kids. She also finds friends of the bug variety, thankfully just insects and not spiders.

There is an inch worm here somewhere... At one point it was in her hair!

Tripods and remotes come in handy. I've tried a few times to get the shot of Addy and I have hanging in her room with Caden, but haven't quite gotten it yet.

Caden Travis at 3 Months

Its been a little busy now that I'm back at work. Poor Caden, I forgot to do his 3 month pictures for a few days after the 20th, but at least it was only a few days late. My first full week back at work, I had meetings until 5:30 or 6 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Talk about a long week. I haven't worked a full week since before Christmas due to snow days. And to have three long days, I was pretty tired by the end. But we all survived!
