Christmas Card Photo Shoot 2013

Its become a tradition of ours to take our Christmas card picture at my parents house. It is such a nice location because of the beautiful stone wall and year round Christmas tree! As an added bonus, Josh was excited to have Pop Pop and Matt to watch and cheer on the Eagles with (since Addy and I aren't the best cheerleaders :)). And Addyson LOVES playing at her grandparents houses. And I was able to get a nap in. I'd call that a win for everyone!!

Oh, and I forgot about the yummy dinner Mom Mom made!

Fall Leaves, Sick Days and 26 weeks

Addyson seriously can not get enough of fall leaves. She loves to help rake them, throw them, jump in them and play Red Light, Green Light with me to get into them. Unfortunately for her, we have been chopping them up. Fortunately for her, our neighbors are not living at their house any more, so a small leaf pile on their side of the lawn stays put for a while ;).

With the fall weather, comes fall sickness as well. I had to take my first family sick day to take care of Addyson last week. Poor Addy had a bad headache and fever. After a quick trip to the doctors, they confirmed that it was just something viral that she needed to kick on her own. It took about a week, but she finally did. Although, now shes starting to have a cough again, so we will see...

You can always tell when Addy isn't feeling well. She sleeps! And doesn't even mind if a cat sleeps on her :)
And, last week marked 26 weeks with Lil' Fed #2. I remember taking a picture when I was pregnant with Addy at 26 weeks, because it was Christmas Eve. So I decided to reenact the photo and compare belly's. Boy oh boy I feel and look so much bigger this time!

Addyson's November Sticker Chart & FIRST Hair Cut

Since we have moved Addyson into her new room, with her new bed, her sleeping has been difficult. With her new found freedom, it is harder to get her settled and in bed at night AND to keep her sleeping in the morning. A normal night now consists of a bed time routine that starts around 7:30. After using the potty, brushing her teeth, putting PJ's on, and reading books she's in bed. Usually (hopefully) by 9 or so she's asleep. But also usually by 5 - 5:30 she's up, and there is no getting her back down. And she had been getting up a few times a night, too.

So, to help us all get a little more sleep, we started using a sticker reward chart with her. He first prize was a hair cut! She has been wanting to have her hair cut since watching me get mine cut about a month ago.

The chart has been helping, we still have a pretty early wake up call, but at least she is staying down for the most part at night.

Go Addyson!!

And she did great for her haircut! She sat nice and still and seemed to really enjoy it!

And Daddy got a reward too, a Shady Maple Breakfast
